"Very nice small site indeed"
Excellent clean static caravan with a good central heating system and all necessary facilities.
The site was very clean and tidy and with a host of wildlife ( red squirrels, rabbits, owls, red kites, pheasants ) and a pair of chickens. There were several short walks for our dog to keep us fit. This is in a good location for touring in the Dales and Lakes, and the site was very easy to find being just off the A66 on the outskirts of Brough.
There were several pubs in the local villages that provided good meals, and also well stocked local stores in Brough and in nearby Kirkby Stephen if you wished to self cater in the caravan. We had a very pleasant week at Augill Beck and will almost certainly return.
"Loved our week away lovely caravan lots of wild life would return."
Location was peaceful and very clean and well laid out not over crowded.
"Generally satisfied overall, would definately consider staying again."
Remote location, very clean caravan and bedding, towels etc., shown to the caravan personally by the site manager. Good outdoor area with a picnic table and enjoyed watching the red squirrels close by.
"Excellent site. The site manager was very welcoming and helpful."
Caravan was very spacious and spotless with everything one could need included. The site itself was excellent for the children to explore with lots of different pathways to explore.
"Excellent site very well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff."
The location was good and very easy to find, the site was very tidy but with lots of wildlife, the static caravan was clean, warm and comfortable, and the site manager was friendly and very helpful.
The location is ideal for a lazy, relaxed break just enjoying the site and reading a book. Alternatively it is well placed to be the base for days out to the Dales and the Lake District. Brough Castle, Bowes Castle, Barnard Castle, and Shap Abbey are all within easy reach by car,
